Who is JoJo?

Hej! I'm Joël, but everyone calls me JoJo. I'm Dutch and I live in the forest in Sweden with my fiancée Marijke, our dog Kakan and two cats.

When I moved to Sweden, I learned Swedish mostly by listening to podcasts. Every day a little bit. That worked so well that I wanted to do the same for people who are learning Dutch. That's how Makkelijk Nederlands met JoJo started.

In the podcast I talk slowly and clearly about everyday life: work, food, the weather, Dutch traditions and life in Sweden. The first episodes are very easy. Step by step the Dutch becomes a bit more natural.

I work as a carpenter and painter. My hobbies are woodworking and leatherwork.
